My service stands out due to my passion for dance. I want to bring out the best in each student and also let them know it's ok to creatively express themselves through dance. I also stand out because I let my students know it's ok to stumble as long as you get up and try it again. I've been dancing well over 26 years and teaching for 22 so I want to always help my students reach their goals and push past what they think they can do. What I enjoy most about teaching dance is helping the student learn how to express themselves through dance. They will not only have the technical aspect of dance, but a feeling of freedom through movement.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process for working with new students is to do a mini assessment on their first class. This class will let me see what they know and we will talk in detail about what it is they want to learn. If it is a child and the parent does not necessarily know The industry I will still do an assessment and start with the basics (a great foundation is key to everything) and we will build on that.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have dance for over 27 years and taught for 22 years in all areas of dance including but not limited to ballet, tap, jazz, modern, African, and contemporary. I've taught and danced in my hometown Athens, GA, Eatonton, GA, and Jacksonville, FL. My training has also been with many people including Jacksonville Centre of the Arts Company and Dance FX Company. I have worked with all ages 2 - adult.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My normal fee system starts at $40/hr and increases depending on a group, party, choreography, etc.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always loved dance and I started dancing at age 11. By the time I was 15 my dance teacher sought me out to assist in several classes and when I turned 16 I was prepared to teach those same classes alone.
