Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students may audit a class for free to see if they are interested in joining the course. For audit information contact us directly or visit our website!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 15 years of work as a professional actress in theatre and on film. Over 20 lead roles in feature films for studios and networks such as Hallmark, Netflix, Sony and more! Writer and film producer with my own production company. 5 years of teaching and coaching actors both in Los Angeles and the Atlanta area.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Private Coaching begins at $70/hr. Classes begin at $150/month for weekly classes.
How did you get started teaching?
Began by teaching workshops on audition technique based on both my acting experience and having been behind the casting table early on as a casting intern and recently as a producer. I have a passion for seeing actors grow to new levels and "live many lives" as they develop characters in a healthy and emotionally honest way.
What types of students have you worked with?
I focus mostly on teaching adult actors, but we do also offer classes and workshops for kids and teens.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be sure you are hiring a teacher with real industry experience. Do your homework. Google them. Find them on IMDb. Ask other actors you know who they have studied with.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is your experience level? Are you just starting out or have you been acting for years?
How do you approach acting in to your life? Is this just a hobby or something you want to try to see if you like it or do you see this as your profession?
There is no wrong answer to these questions, but the more we know, the more we can recommend the class that is best for you!
