I have over 20+ years of dance experience and I received my BA in Dance at Kennesaw State University. I currently teach/choreograph professionally and have for the last few years in many different styles such as ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz/musical theater, and ballroom. I am able to tailor my teaching to different ages, skill levels, and personalities while creating a hospitable environment for fun and growth.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I like to begin the teaching process with getting to know each student and tailoring the lessons to their individual skill  level/goals. 


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have over 20+ years training in dance and am a versatile dancer/teacher with training in both classical and commercial styles. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Kennesaw State University. I  I currently dance, teach, and choreograph professionally in the Atlanta area and am continually training in various styles. 


Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I charge $100 per hr flat rate 

Pricing quotes for choreography for special events would be per event


How did you get started teaching?

I took a pedagogy class in college and realized I really enjoyed teaching. I began coaching and teaching with a non-profit arts organization after that and teaching for my dance colleagues in studios around Atlanta. 


What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with students of various ages from toddlers all the way up through to adults. I have worked one on one, couples, and groups.
