My skills as an artist have grown significantly as a result of Shane’s classes. He creates a very encouraging, supportive and collaborative environment in his classes, helping artist stretch their skills, grow and take risks in their artwork. I can’t say enough good things about Shane who is a very talented artist in his own right. Shane is a wonderful teacher, very generous in sharing his knowledge and techniques to help other artists grow and improve. I highly recommend Shane McDonald as a teacher and as an artist. He is a fabulous, FANTASTIC teacher with TONS of education and experience in each instructional sentence that he makes. I am so lucky to live close to Macon!! I took a zoom class this morning with another gal from the Macon area, one from Florida and a young woman from Germany... he’s getting awfully popular!!! Love LOVE his teaching style, he works very hard with EACH student!!!!!

I did a session this summer. I had never done acrylic pouring before but she was incredibly patient and flexible while she taught me how to do it.

The drawing class taught by Shannon Meadows has several exercises and practice opportunities that have helped my drawing skills significantly, especially with drawing faces. Shannon was prepared to teach class, very knowledgeable, and made the class fun as well. Her lessons are based on art school concepts along with Shannon’s significant abilities as an artist. I would recommend this class.
