I'm a 3rd-generation seamstress, quilter and handweaver and I've been teaching for more than 30 years.   My skills were inherited from mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who were accomplished Southern seamstresses and quilters.  I am recognized by the Georgia Council for the Arts and the State of Georgia Legislation as a Master Artist practicing a Georgia Traditional Art-Handweaving (2007). I believe one of the most effective ways of teaching and learning is thru direct transmission of knowledge...from teacher to student. I teach all levels of sewing; garment alterations; machine & hand quilting; fabric print ... View Profile

Ann’s Studio

Ann's Studio is a creative place for people to come together, learn something new and make beautiful things.  There are no rules, just good, messy fun.  We believe that each piece should be as unique as the artist who created it so while instructors will offer instructions, tips and guidance they will also encourage everyone to add their own personal sytle - there's nothing "cookie-cutter" about Ann's Studio!   Unlike most art & project studios, Ann's Studio offers projects and instruction across a wide variety of art forms - because who wants to do the same thing all the time?  We offer everything from painting ( ...
