About
This Meisner Technique training is an enhanced, accelerated summary detailing the fundamentals of developing the actor’s ideals, skillset and senses. Through a series of compounding exercises, in which each exercise will lay the groundwork for the next exercise during the entirety of the program - this foundation will give the basis needed to respond responsively; to be present, open and available in the moment; and have authentic experiences to begin the process of “living truthfully under imaginary circumstance...” without the use of any previously studied techniques or training (i.e. emotional memory).
Private coaching is also available to learn a different technique which can help a beginning actor learn a way to feel through a script to get a base idea of what it means to be a film actor in Atlanta.
We offer a professional, career consultation to help beginning actors figure out their next step, or even figure out how to navigate this career called "acting".
Lastly, we offer a taping service for self-taped auditions which includes taping, reader services, coaching, editing, and sending files via WeTransfer directly to you, the casting director or your agent.
What I enjoy most about what training, and working with, actors is what every actor gives with each session... 200%. When they give 200% - I give 200%. By working with actors, it helps me get better as a facilitator, an actor and a person. I grow when the actor grows. They're successes are wonderful to behold, because they are just that - they're successes... and no one can claim that except for that actor. I am eternally grateful for each actor that walks through the door.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, there is an interview process either via phone, skype, facetime or in person to find out the actors skillset, commitment, goals, situation and expectation.
Second, after assessment, its decided a path that is best suited for the actor.

How did you get started teaching?
Teaching actually found me... I had been helping out friends throughout our classes, tapings and careers. Taking the knowledge I had gained by constantly asking questions, attending workshops, classes, Q&A's, etc, and sharing it freely. Then one day, a friend asked why don't you charge for all that you are doing and teach that, as well. Something I hadn't considered, and so starting small with just tapings, I started giving free advice, then started charging for coachings... til finally, with the advice and blessings of my teachers, I started offering classes and private acting coachings. I have been blessed ever since.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
With television and film acting, especially, you want to look at that persons career and education. Look them up on IMDB, ask for their resume and for referrals. If they are not a working acting with legitemate credits, then they are not someone you should be working with. But if they have years of training, with more than just workshops, and solid credits - go to them and audit a class or as for a free consultation. There should always be a free consultation. It is worth their, and your, time to have a simple conversation.
