About this pro

I am very passionate about teaching dance and the proper way to execute correct movements. I enjoy teaching dancers to perform and not only dance but find themselves in what they love to do! I believe proper vocal technique and training goes a long way. I am here to help vocal lessons be informative as well as enjoyable!

I have several professional credits in musical theatre shows and work closely with my dance professor at school. I have my degree in Musical Theatre and served as the dance captain/assistant Choregrapher and Choreographer for the past productions and showcases. I also serve as a teaching assistant for all dance classes at the university and co captain of the Dance Company. I teach workshops, mock dance calls, choreography workshops, and private classes.

I do have a fitness background and have been teaching group fitness for 3 years. I also have experience with personal training. I like to add components of conditioning for my dance clients!

I specifically teach ballet, jazz, musical theatre, and tap for the basic and intermediate dancer!
As for voice, I teach all styles; my fortay is musical theatre but pop, country, classical, and jazz are in my wheelhouse.

I enjoy teaching and improving dance training, voice training & performance quality.
I like to create an environment that suits YOUR needs. Whether it be improving at a professional level or a fun basic level.

One of THE best dance teachers! I took tap with her, and since she is a working actress, she has taught me so many steps and combinations that they are using in real auditions and shows! Love her attitude and very kind.

Eleni is an excellent teacher, really knowledgeable and very good about teaching to all ages and experience. Definitely booking with her again soon! The weekly privates are really amazing!

I liked that I had individual time with Eleni and she never hesitated to go over anything that I was confused about. She always showed me new techniques and tricks. In a tap class, she even let me borrow her tap shoes because my had broke. I look forward to taking future dance classes with her.

Loads of fun. The teacher was professional and very educated. She moved at a pace that worked well with the class. Never getting to far ahead or behind. Overall: amazing

How did you get started teaching?

I started teaching at a summer day camp in the summers before college. I enjoyed teaching a range of children and have a passion for teaching dance. Once my college career started I found that my passion for teaching and creating grew.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with 3yr-14yr as a dance instructor for a summer day camp. As of recently I have been teaching the college age students for 3 years. Currently I have students ranging from 5-35 years old.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I am particularly fond of the underclassman showcase that I directed and choreographed in the Spring of 2019. I worked with these students since January teaching them challenging choreography that pushed them to better improve their dance ability. The showcase went incredibly well and the audience loved the choreography. People are still talking about it!

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Make sure they are specific in their goals and what they want to achieve.
