How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching at a summer day camp in the summers before college. I enjoyed teaching a range of children and have a passion for teaching dance and voice. Once my college career started I found that my passion for teaching and creating grew. I began teaching dance and voice on the side throughout my college career alongside studying to be a fitness coach!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with 3yr-14yr as a dance instructor for a summer day camp. As of recently I have been teaching the college age students for 3 years.
Currently I have students ranging from 5-35 years old.
I teach all styles, all levels and all ages!
For personal training I do ask you be over 18 years old!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am particularly fond of the underclassman showcase that I directed and choreographed in the Spring of 2019. I worked with these students since January teaching them challenging choreography that pushed them to better improve their dance ability. The showcase went incredibly well and the audience loved the choreography. People are still talking about it!
I am also proud of the online fitness coaching business I recently built on Instagram. @EleniEliteFitness. The pandemic has been very hard fo performers right now so I like to think that I have made the best of my situation! I am super happy to have taken the time to build my fitness business as well as my dance/voice business!
