Ms. Natalia is one of the most patient yet challenging teachers I have ever had. She taught me how to read music sheets, music theory, styles, and introduced me to various genres that sounded beautiful; all of this fueling my passion for piano. I am a slow learner when it comes to piano and memorization, but she really adapted to my pace while still pushing me to do my best, giving me the perfect amount of challenge while still not overwhelming me. I was honestly surprised by my own progress speed, as it usually takes me a while to pick up on learning things. No matter how many times I would do the same thing wrong, she was always persistent and patient in pointing out each mistake I made to make sure I never formed any bad playing habits. I feel very fortunate to have found Raisa as a piano teacher. I am an advanced adult student who has played the piano for many years and studied with many teachers. I am truly convinced that Raisa is an exceptional teacher – she has an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the music including styles, historic context, technique, and of course, musicianship. And she conveys this knowledge effectively and often with a great sense of humor.
She has shown me how to make difficult technical problems easier (I am playing pieces that I never thought I’d be able to play) and given me a greater understanding of how to analyze a piece of music – always in a manner that makes the knowledge transferable to other pieces of music. What’s most important to me, however, is that I feel that I am always being challenged to reach my personal best. She does not let me settle for “just okay” or “just good”, but encourages me to listen and work out those details in the music that separate the good from the artistic. Miss Claudette has given lessons to my child for a few years. She has done an excellent job teaching him the basics and helping him build his confidence to become an excellent piano player.
In addition to Miss Claudette being an excellent teacher, she is also very patient and accommodating. She is usually able to adjust her schedule if we have a scheduling conflict. She was also very helpful when my son requested to play an event. She was able to help him organize a small performance with just a few weeks notice. We were very proud of his performance.
We could go to an instructor closer to home, but we really enjoy Miss Claudette and would highly recommend her.

Ms Amy is a wonderful teacher. We could not have found a better fit ! She is super patient with my daughther and somehow she finds ways to keep her focused during class. She is very flexible as well with her schedule and homework and some weeks we can focus in more musics and some we wont. That has been very important to keep my daughter liking music classes.
