About
I am a certified music teacher with a Bachelor Degree in Music Education from Baylor University. I have experience teaching middle school choir in Texas, and I currently teach private voice lessons of all ages in the metro Atlanta. I am a very nurturing teacher who aids in not only vocal but personal growth to help you become confident in your own skin, in addition to your vocal abilities. I provide my students with guidelines for singing posture, breathing techniques, vocal warmup, diction, how to audition, how to use a microphone, what foods to eat before singing...and much more!
It gives me great joy to see a singer reach their dreams to become a more confident, strong singer. I am truly passionate about singing and teaching and wish to share my knowledge to help others achieve their goals and aspirations. Whether you have no experience and just want to improve your singing voice, or if you desire to be a working musician or famous artist, I enjoy the process of teaching and being a part of your journey to becoming an amazing singer!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Initially, my students are given a form to fill out which helps me assess their skills, knowledge, prior singing experience, and vocal aspirations/goals.
In our lessons, we start with stretching and breathing exercises and then build up to vocal warmups and ear training. For the remainder of the lesson, we work on a song of the student's choice regarding lyrics, phrasing, pitches, breathing, vowel placement, style, dynamics and more!
