Great to see my students making progress and enjoying their time on the court. Love what I do so it's not really work or a job per say. Great way to develop life skills and behaviors that help people grow as individuals. Fun approach leads to great results and growth of the game.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Meet the student , talk about their tennis experience and goals . Observe them hitting some balls. Assess their skill level and device a lesson plan . I use a progressive approach and based on their age and skill level determine if they should start with Red ball , Orange ball , Green dot , or yellow ball.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
USPTA Certified Professional , PTR Certified , USTA Coach Youth Tennis 10 and Under Certification. Safe Play approved.
Over 65 credits of continuing education credits with USPTA and PTR.
Over saw the 5 and 6 year old summer program at Sandy Springs Tennis Center. Staff member at Sweetwater Tennis Center as well as Roswell Area Park Tennis Center

Worked for Jimmy Evert at Holiday Park in Ft. Lauderdale , Fl. for 3 years. Worked with high performance juniors , college players , and tour level players as well

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
As long as you want to play tennis , all I ask for is effort . The results will come if we put forth the effort and celebrate the incrimental improvements.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What they want to achieve by taking lessons. Have fun , work on specific strokes , get good exercise , compete in Alta League play or tournaments , etc.
