I started coaching at age 18. I've been coaching in different countries and at all levels. Currently I am assistant coach for UH women's team.
Helping adults improve their technique,footwork and fitness and helping kids develope all aspects of their game is my goal. And getting players to love the game more and more is very rewarding.
My lessons include technical instructions,strategy and plenty of footwork drills. Playing points for tournament players brings it all together with the mental aspect as well.
the thing I really enjoy about being a tennis coach is teaching young players more than tennis, namely help them understand that hard work pays off and competing is more important than winning.

Recently took a private lesson with Saverio to work on a few things in my game. His enthusiam for the game and helping people improve their game are on full display for the whole lesson. No wasted time and you get a boat load of actionable feedback. Worth it and then some, and I will likely reach out to him anytime I am in need to fix or improve a stroke. Fun and productive.

Coach Saverio is warm and personable. He makes each session enjoyable. His long experience coaching players from beginners to college level shows on the teaching court. He has a great eye for technical flaws in strokes as well as footwork and court position.
I’ve taken many lessons over the years at high level tennis centers as well as tennis resorts. Coach Saverio is one of my favorites.

I just turned 50 and have been playing tennis on and off for about 15 years. I took many USTA and club group drill classes and very much enjoyed most of that instruction. Recent semi-private lessons with Saverio have been a new and amazing experience. Saverio is an incredibly perceptive and insightful coach. He can easily identify the shortcomings in your technique, suggest best fixes, and drills to practice the new skills. The coach is friendly, courteous and encouraging. His ball feed and hit back skills are out of this world. I enjoyed the most his advice on the doubles point tactics. If you are really looking to take your game to the next level, Severio is your coach!
