Embrace Ballroom

Provider of ballroom, Latin and Swing instruction for adult couples. Embrace Ballroom is the only ballroom program in Idaho that does not rotate group classes. What this means is that when you bring in your spouse or date, we do not require that you dance with strangers. Why dance with anyone else?

I have over thirty years in my industry. I am creditialed and hold professional medals in both Smooth and Latin. I have competition background, mostly as a pro/am. I been awarded teacher of the year twice in my career.

I trained with the always amazing Don and Margo Walker. Don and Margo won second at in the coveted Rising star at the Autumn Dance Classic. I worked with them before branching out on my own.

My mentors were kind enough to have me trian with some of the nation's best dancers. I have taken instruction from Daniel and Maria Sanchez, World Argentine Tango champions, Nancy Florez, National Latin champion and Felix Chavez, Hollywood choreographer.

I taught for the S.T.A.R.S. program, providing movement workshops to K-8th grades. I also taught couples ballroom for Modesto Junior College for four years.

I love to see dancers progress. My training is different as I was taught how to teach well. There are so many details in couple dancing! You have to apply a lot of physics and mechanics to make it work smoothly. I love when a couple may come into the program a bit skeptical and find after a month or two they start to relax and enjoy themselves.
