BC Professional Acting Classes
About
Hey heyy there!!!
My name is Brian Cruz!! I am a Latino Actor/Director/Coach/Instructor, Who is looking to expand his help out to everyone!!
I offer coaching sessions, classes, counseling and much much more at a very affordable rate. I honestly really do just want to help out anyone who cant afford to go to the big Acting Schools like I couldnt either. Eventually, I myself, have invested thousands and thousands of dollars in performing art schools in Chicago and L.A. I believe it really did help shape me and really set my mind straight on how to avoid scams and where to get actual work and how to perfect my craft for that audition. But as I mentioned, it was very pricey. So I started to offer classes through park districts and online as well. I help actors, like my self, get ready for the big auditions that they're about to go to. I help Actors and Parents see things clear and help them separate the Scams from the Real auditions. Below I will attach my info so you can look me up for yourself if you have any doubts, I am literally just trying to help, =]
There will always be that one acting coach who really leave an imprint in your Career, mine was Mike Mitchell from Fenton. I really hope I can be yours =]

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will typically sit down and have them do a little "audition" for me so we can see where we are and determine strengths and weaknesses, then we work together on what the student desires =]
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken endless classes at John Robert Powers in Chicago and through independent agencies in Los Angeles as well. I've taken courses ranging from TV1 to Communicating Skills, to Stage combat.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I prefer to negotiate with my students based on their budget =]
How did you get started teaching?
It's actually pretty funny, I've always wanted to, but I was hosting an event in the West suburbs. I was the emcee. And one of the directors of a park district came up to me and offered me a position to teach classes there. And then it jumped from there to coaching sessions and now I'm freelancing and open to everyone =]
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked eith students ranging from 6 years old to grown adults older than my self, haha. The oldest student I had was in her mid 40s =]
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently, I helped a parent get her young actress into an acting agency through my coaching sessions and having me help perfect her audition for the agency =]
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The best advice i would give ANYONE, would be to hire someone that has your best interest at heart, someone who is not looking to make a quick dollar. Someone who really just wants to help you out and knows how to. Someone that appeals to you, not the other way around.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ultimately what is your goal, do you want to make It into theatre or film?
