The Art Of Emotion
About
I thinks it's import that the actor is in control of their character at all times. I love talking to an actor openly about their life experiences and how it relates to the character!
One of my mentors has been James Mangold. He's well know for directing, "Walk the Line" and "The Greatest Showman."
I love the relationship that happens between the Actor & Director. It wasn't until I watched James work so hard with all of his actors to achieve real life into each character. I love the process!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would ask that you send your script or sides to me at least 1 day before the audition. I will do a quick read. Then do a character Analysis or any research on the character before we get to work.
I expect the actor to be open and honest about their own life experiences so we can build your own character. You have to breath life into the character & I can help you do that.
