Da Diva's Danceland
About
Da Diva's Danceland was established in 2004 after the creation of the Cardinalettes' majorette, flag, and dancers of a majorette and hip-hop dance. Also, we offer a genre of other dance styles along with flag and baton twirling. We've soared and whooo spectators under the direction on Camille Davis (Coach D)Da Diva's Danceland founder, Camille Davis believes, the art of dance comes from within. Currently, Camille Davis along with her "Royal Rizin Starz Dancers' has brought light and life to those who are hospital-bound, retirees, parade spectators, performances for 50th, 60th birthday parties and more. Students who attend a class with coach Davis will first learn self-confidence, conditioning and technique second, genuine sportsmanship and finally, the art of dance Coach Davis has traveling state to state and performed a variety of solo acts. I've led a Chicago team of dancers who have performed in many competitions such as; the Krew of Tucks, New Orleans, Arkansas, and more. My teams have placed in several competitions. My style of teaching is definitely the original dance of such genres such as; majorette, hip-hop Intro to jazz and Intro to Ballet that all age generations can enjoy. My style of choreography delightful for all generations to enjoy.
I enjoy patience and progress. One of my motto's to my students is, " never say I can't." When I see the insecure young person who's shy, gain confidence and progress occur, it's a great joy! Seeing the amazement on his/her face during the improvement process is amazing; I call it "priceless". My technique of dance skills is teaching with a purpose. Everyone must be on his or her feet. With solo classes, the student will learn self-confidence along with finding one's own identity. With patience and progress, accomplishments will surely come. My ability to teach young minds makes me thankful for both my dance teachers at Mayfair Dance Academy, Chicago and Mrs. Vernadine Thomas. As a dance instructor, it is my goal to meet beginners and create great dancers no matter the age.
