Hello, My name is Ericka Lyda-Sandru. I have been in business teaching piano for 18 years. I am located in Hyde Park Chicago at 5234 S Blackstone . I am patient with my students. I enjoys teaching piano and love them all. I do sight reading , ear training , scales and chords , I teaches students ages 3 and a half to 11 out of Piano Bastin Book a Suzuki and 12 + out of Alfred Piano Book and Suzuki . I facilitate piano recitals and we go on field trips that are music related.

My name is Annarita and I have been teaching private lessons since 2012. As a professional violinist I focus my attention on all important aspects of successful music making skills including posture (eliminating tension and achieving a more effortless sense of playing), technical proficiency, knowledge of music theory, and most importantly sound production. Every student is built differently and has a different set of needs. I understand this and am sure to give each student a personal practice plan to fit their needs.

I love playing piano, learning songs, and improvising music. I attended the Hartt School of Music for Jazz Piano, but I'm comfortable playing and teaching in a variety of styles. I've been playing music for over 20 years, and I'd be thrilled to share my experience with you as a part of your musical journey.

My name is Alex Giger, and I'm a Chicago-based violinist/violist. I offer in-person or virtual lessons for you, and can accommodate your schedule for a lesson. My style of teaching is empathetic and socratic. I create goals and customize lessons to help you develop your viola skills in a way that improves your applied critical thinking. I have over a decade of experience teaching students of all ages. My HS students have found success at youth orchestra (some currently in CYSO) and college auditions. I find great joy in teaching motivated students of all ages to discover a new side of themselves and help them reach their greatest potential!
