About
Chicago Human Rhythm Project, founded in 1990, is a community-based organization in Chicago, Illinois. Its mission is to build relationships through contemporary arts, offering more than 200 classes across 20 dance styles. From tap to ballet, hip-hop to flamenco, the project celebrates human rhythm. It presents concerts, educational programs, and festivals for Chicago-area participants, fostering connections and shared experiences. Its school, the American Rhythm Center, located in the historic Fine Arts Building, offers classes seven days a week, as well as rehearsal and special event space.
