Acting Instincts With Ben Werling

An award winning acting professional in Chicago for 30 years--alway searching for engaging, authentic behavior in my performance, and in the performances that always seem to touch or move me. Looking at acting as behavioral anthropology, we follow our instincts to find authentic human behavior. Believing that the only 4th wall is in the back of the theater, behind the audience --I also explore the understanding of the actors sense of there own energy, and using it to fill the space and envelope the audience. Inclusivity, collaboration, and community to tap into the instincts and emotions that humans have shared since they appeared, and translate those into action on stage.

I enjoy the connection made between artists who are open to evolving beyond their technical preconceptions or concerns. Tapping into their inner power by releasing their behavioral authenticity through instinctual choices. Shared creativity and discovery.
