What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1st I like to have a mini consultation, and see what the student wants to gain from dance lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been dancing and training for the past 16 years. Mostly in latin dance, and now training in Ballroom plus swing.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $75/ hr if local to me in the City of Chicago.
There is an upgrade fee of $100/hr surrounding suburbs
$125- and up depending on distance.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started 16 years ago at a studio called Latin Rhythms. Since then have taught at Various studios and now have my own dance team
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I just taught and performed at an event in Orlando,Fl which had tons of students of all ages, and was able to socialize with them for a whole weekend.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
See what they have done In the past, and ask for some of their work.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
If the instructor is qualified to teach what they are looking for as a student.
