Hello there! My name is Marcelo, I am from São Paulo, Brazil, and have taught languages since 2000. I started teaching Spanish at companies in Brazil, and then in 2004, I moved to Chicago. There I started teaching Spanish but soon more and more students requested Portuguese classes. Two years later I opened a language school dedicated entirely to Portuguese. I have been teaching languages (Portuguese, Spanish, and English) online since 2014. My method is conversational and intercultural. The students do learn vocabulary and grammar, but the time in class is used for the students to talk as much as possible.

We love meeting new students, we help students to reach their learning goals and it's exiting to see it. We offer snacks during resting moments, provide real life experiences to connect to the student and help them better understand the subject matter with visual stimulation. We also like to bring more Spanish speaking skills to children in low income areas and give one on one attention to those struggling with English concepts.
