About
I have been offering voice and songwriting lessons since the start of 2021. From the beginning, my students have noticed improvement in not just their vocal or songwriting ability, but in their overall relationship to music. Each student has their own unique learning style and I believe it is my duty to create individualized lessons that allow for students to grow and progress at their own pace. Contact me today to start your journey toward musical freedom. Students of all ages are welcome!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I follow this process for each new student
1. I start by asking a series of Introductory questions that assess goals, experience, and musical interests. Then I explain how our lessons will normally work (Relaxation, Breath work, Warmups, and Song Work).
2. Then through a few exercises I assess vocal range and ability to match pitch.
3. Then, we begin our lesson as we would normally. We start with relaxation exercises to relieve tension in the body, then we move onto breathing exercises to get our breath moving and to make sure that we are breathing correctly for singing, then we move on to vocal warmups, and then we work on our repertoire.
4. At the very end of the lesson, if comfortable, I have students sing any song they would like, just to get a feel for their vocal style.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
