About
I come for a musical family background and grew up listening to music before I was even born. My father spent his entire life teaching music as a music teacher in highschool and colleges back in India.
I started learning tabla and later drums and other percussions at the age of 8 years and have been learning, teaching and performing ever since.
I am very passionate about playing and creating music. It gives me great pleasure to be able teach this art to a person who is willing to put in the work.

I'm flexible when it comes to pricing. I'm willing to work with the student if the student is dedicated to learn.
How did you get started teaching?
My father spent all of his life as a music teacher in India and now in Chicago even at the age of 80. I guess it runs in the family. 😊

My youngest student is 4 years old who is learning to play the drums. My oldest student is 55 who is learning the tablas. There is no age limit to learn music but younger they start the faster they learn.
