Brad is a professional improviser who trained and worked with “The Second City” for 3 years. Now He does musical theater along with stand up comedy and teaching improv to kids with CYT (Christian Youth Theater). He’s been doing improv comedy for 8 years and musical theater for 13 years! He’s played roles such as:
Alex the Lion in Madagascar
Mr. warbucks in Annie
Bert in Mary Poppins
Roger in Rent
William Barfee in Putnam spelling bee
Beast in Beauty and the Beast
Bobby Strong in Urinetown
The Cat in The Hat in Suessical

I've always loved teaching. I love sharing my knowledge with people that are excited to learn. My favorite part is seeing my students grow and build in confidence!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always make sure I'm working on something that they would like to work on. But if not, I always come prepared! I like to teach using different exercises to make time fly by.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained by "The Second City" in Chicago for 4 years! I have also worked with multiple stars from broadway during my 2 month stay in New York!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I normally charge about 45 dollars for an hour. But I'm willing to talk about price with my students!
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching slowly after i graduated the improv program at "The Second City." Since then I've helped prep many auditions for my students and have taught various acting classes and improv classes at CTY Mchenry county!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Go with the person that you believe has the most to offer you. Different teachers will be better at teaching different things. I'm a fairly young teacher at 23 years old, But I'm still fresh in the game when it comes to performing.
