My many years as a professional actor and writer combined with twenty-five+years of teaching acting and writing to elementary school, high school, college students and adults gives me a range of experience and a variety of teaching techniques to meet the exciting challenges of any serious acting or writing student.
I love helping students overcome their fears and access their authentic voice and personal talents. After many years of teaching experience I am skilled in creating a supportive, fun and challenging environment to assist students in achieving growth and success. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We sit down and have a relaxed conversation about their goals. Once we have a sense of what the student wants to achieve and accomplish we can begin to develop a challenging, fun and exciting series of lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been and continue to be a professional actor and writer. Working in the business has always helped me create strong teaching experiences for the students I work with. After tweny-five+plus years of teaching acting, I have a wide ranging tool box of instructional options to unlock creativity.
