Most of our instructors started teaching when asked to choreograph for a production, a show, an event such as a cotillion, quinceneara, wedding, or just by teaching each other in the group.
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with students of all ages from Tots as young as 4 years old up to older students age 40 & up. Students with little or no experience and advanced students as well.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent event was when we were given the opportunity to audition for the biggest stage in the world, America's Got Talent, this season (Season 13). And the best part, when Simon Cowell told us we were his "favorite act of the day!" We were also ecstatic when we made it to the Judge Cuts and the Quarter Finals!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
When looking for a teacher make sure you communicate and let them know what you want to achieve. Also make sure you're comfortable with the class and do not be afraid to ask questions!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about how the class will help with yourself as a person, how it will elevate your experience and skills and how it will help you grow.
