About
NDP is a small dance organization located in Chicago, IL, focused on providing youth with the best dance education possible. Founder, Nalani K. Johnson, started her dance education at the age of 11 at Mayfair Academy of Fine Arts, now known as The Mayfair Performing Company. Nalani continued her training at King Highschool and majored in dance education at Illinois State for a year before pursuing her own interests in finding her organization. Nalani now continues training at the Joffrey Academy of dance and exploring more dance classes her city has to offer. Here at NDP our main focus is to provide our youth with not only the best dance education but showing our kids another way of expressing their emotions through dance.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process when working with a new student is teaching the basics to see what they are ready for.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Working on bachelors degree related in teaching. I train at different dance companies throughout my city. I also teach along side a former dance instructor of mine at her dance studio.
