About this pro

I am a singer/songwriter/producer, born and raised in Chicago.

Since 2016, I have been managing a music series entitled Sessions With Tandaleria where I invite artists to perform songs, written and produced by myself, which are also accompanied by live instrumentation.

I believe that the ability to express yourself through music is an important way to exercise your growth as an artist.

I enjoy being able to assist people in their personal growth and their musically journey.

Tandaleria taught me alot about how to project my voice. SHE ALSO DOES SONGWRITING. I never realized that learning how to write would be so valuable. Thanks so much I'll be buying more soon.

Tandaleria communication throughout has been great and very professional, the reminders for appointments and also follow up on progress from each session was helpful since my daughter was handling lessons on her own guided time.

Tandaleria is truly a ‘hidden gem’. I’ve worked with her for and I truly appreciate her coaching ability. Tan, is a great leader and coach and I’ve learned a lot from her. I’ve also observed her working with others and have seen the improvements. She understands each element of music & the dynamics that create the essence of what music is. Her patience, ability to guide and attention to detail are superb. Being around her talent and energy us positively infectious! Tan truly lives in the art if music and her efforts prove this over and over again. I’d recommend her over and over again! Sign up for her lessons! You’ll be glad you did.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I start by assesing the students' foundation and what they're currently experienced in. Once I have a good idea of where they're at, I then determine what they're lacking or need imporvement in. The first session, which is FREE, is most import when gathering this information.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am vocally trained with over 10 years of experience, three of which I have spent as a vocal instructor for School of Rock.

I have also been a well engaged song writer for over 8 years. Song writing structure and the importance of tempo and pacing when vocalizing are a few of the key components I discuss during teaching sessions.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I charge $60 for an hour, $45 dollars for 45min and $30 for 30min lessons. You can also book lessons a month in advance for a discount. A month of hour-long lessons is $220, a month of 45min lessons is $140, and a month of 30min lessons is $100. Each month consists of one lesson per week.

How did you get started teaching?

My love of music, and helping others start learning more about it as well.
