What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I have a specific process that builds skills as it goes along and introduces sticking skills and basic notation skills. from there we proceed to rudiments and /or drumset techniques depending on the students goals/.needs
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have Bachelor's and master's degrees in music, and years of teaching experience with students of all ages, in addition to 30+ years of experience as a professional drummer

$30 per half hour $50 per hour
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching at the University of Illinois summer jazz camp years ago, and enjoyed workng with young musicians, and giving drum lessons. I also taught drum lessons at Parkland college in Champaign, and at the Conservatory of central Illinois
What types of students have you worked with?
drum, percussion. and drumset students of all ages and levels. beginner through HIgh school and college
