About
I’ve been a professional hired actor spanning over nearly two decades.
In that time I’ve worked across all mediums; stage, tv, film, radio.
I trained as an actor in the uk. Then Europe and Japan.
I care about new talent getting the right approach so they’re not just having business smarts, but also get a solid foundation in stage craft.
I recived the highest reward at the end of my training which is a UK BA hons (1st) and have taught at Central, east 15, and RADA.
My web site is under construction but is: http://www.seangarratt.com
I enjoy teaching practical classes. Using scene work and techniques I’ve acquired I will broaden my atendies abilities, whilst boosting their confidence at entering any audition or rehearsal room.
Ever since I can remember, I have loved the art of storytelling, in it's totality, abiet visual, dramatic, audio, etc... ...the joy of being a professional artist is also transfering that knowlege and discovery to more people.
Once that has happened another art occurs, the art of discovery. This is what I most admire when in the role of tutor is discovering what I can learn from my students own revelations.

How did you get started teaching?
Well... ...actually I would say that was when I was a teenager. I used to be a group leader on adventure holidays for younger kids in Wales.
From there I worked with children with disabilities. After attending Drama School, I was asked to come back and teach there, then Universities, as a guest tutor.
