With my experience, I will lead a private violin lesson that is comfortable and challenging, and most importantly, FUN, for the student! I teach children & adults by using games, humorous songs, and I make each lesson as enjoyable as possible. While my classes focus on the Suzuki method and music theory, I will also tutor students who are in public school string programs and offer them tutoring on what they are learning there.

Most of our students are world ranked, including three top three musicians over the past two years. If someone wants to play for fun we do that too. most important, we have fun playing music and there are opportunities to perform and travel the world -- even for our youngest students. As a professional violinist I focus my attention on all important aspects of successful music making skills including posture (eliminating tension and achieving a more effortless sense of playing), technical proficiency, knowledge of music theory, and most importantly sound production. Every student is built differently and has a different set of needs. I understand this and am sure to give each student a personal practice plan to fit their needs.
