With my experience, I will lead a private violin lesson that is comfortable and challenging, and most importantly, FUN, for the student! I teach children & adults by using games, humorous songs, and I make each lesson as enjoyable as possible. While my classes focus on the Suzuki method and music theory, I will also tutor students who are in public school string programs and offer them tutoring on what they are learning there.

My style of teaching is empathetic and socratic. I create goals and customize lessons to help you develop your viola skills in a way that improves your applied critical thinking. I have over a decade of experience teaching students of all ages. My HS students have found success at youth orchestra (some currently in CYSO) and college auditions.
