Diethrich Percussion Studio

I hold a Masters and Ph.D. in ethnomusicology and have been teaching students of all ages and abilities for 30 years. I specialize in all styles of drumset (rock, jazz, latin, etc.) as well as many styles of world music. Students will learn to read music and have strong fundamentals on the snare drum. My teaching is highly individualized to the interests and learning style of each student. I often go 'off book,' creating customized content to help each student reach their fullest potential.
