Fort Wayne Ballet and the Auer Academy enjoy the opportunity to offer cultural and artistic enrichment within the Fort Wayne community. Whether it is in the form of one of our outreach opportunities, in studio classes, or one of our satellite programs; we here at the Fort Wayne Ballet and Auer Academy hope to create the next generation of professional dancers and dance educators. With that sentiment we also hope by doing so to improve the student's we teach and perform for as people within society; with an appreciation for art comes an appreciation of humanity and culture.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students are placed into the appropriate level based on either age for our pre ballet levels (ages 3 - 6) or skill for transferring students over the age of 6.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of the Auer Academy instructors are certified in the American Ballet Theater's (ABT) National Training Curriculum (NTC). ABT's NTC is the only dance curriculum approved by the United States Department of Education and is based off child psychology, child development, and dance education.
We look forward to our faculty completing the Phase III portion of the NTC and becoming a fully ABT NTC certified academy this coming year!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Tuition for Auer Academy classes is based on the number of times per week a student takes within the graded classes (Ballet I to Ballet VI).
Tuition for the Pre Ballet classes is based on the 36 week academic year. Students age 3 and 4 pay $340 in tuition and students age 5 and 6 pay $360 for the 36 weeks.

The Auer Academy of Fort Wayne Ballet has class offerings for students as young as age 3 through into adult or open classes. Whether it's your first time dancing or your students introduction to dance, we have a class for all ages and skill levels!
