We always recommend every new student come in for an introductory lesson to get acquainted with our teaching style and for us to get to know their goals to best service them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Arthur Murray is a 108+ year old company that does all its certifications in-house. Every instructor comes through the Arthur Murray Interrelated System of Teaching, and is certified at a variety of levels to teach varying degrees of student's ability.

We offer a $40 introductory lesson for new students. From there, packages are personalized to the specific goals of the student and range from $390-$790.

Arthur Murray has been teaching the world how to socially dance for over 108 years! The company's mission is to help put a little more fun into everyone's life by helping them try dancing.
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with all ages (8-80), fitness levels, and partner status! Whether you're a parent wanting your teenager to do something fun after school, a couple looking for a fun date night hobby, or a retiree wanting a more fun way to exercise then the treadmill––we're here for everyone!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We love doing bridal shows, sweet 16's, and community organization's events to add a little fun to the lives of people and businesses in our community.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It is very important to find a well established dance studio with a great reputation and certified instructors. Our Northwest Indiana location has received the Times Newspaper's "Best of the Region" award for the last three years in a row! Look for a provider that will personalize a program for you and who guarantees your satisfaction.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
We'd recommend asking about their teaching history as well as their personal dance history. Also, always find out what their philosophy of teaching is toward their students. It's great to discover how you'll learn as well as what you'll learn.
