Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Your first lesson begins with a quick form to fill out asking for basic contact information and some dance related questions to better understand your goals. Your instructor will be providing one-on-one attention. Preceding your lesson, your Instructor will discuss in detail their recommendations of what to purchase to accommodate your budget and needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20+ years certified by the National Dance Council of America - both professional dancer, and dance educator.
Organizers of the first ever nationally accredited and recognized Ballroom & Latin DanceSport Competition in the state of Kentucky.
Collectively, our instructors have over 100 years of experience. We prioritize teaching the highest quality of education, along with the most current and relevant dance moves. We follow curriculum endorsed by experts in the Ballroom & Latin Dance industry, Dance Vision International Dance Association (DVIDA), and National Dance Council of America (NDCA). Our teachers train consistently to make sure they know all of the latest syllabus patterns, rules, and regulations. We also consistently provide our staff with professional development coachings, workshops, and additional training opportunities.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We have a-la-carte classes, packages, and memberships for purchase. Our priority is to help you find the right product that works best for you, whether that is a $12 drop-in class, a wedding package, private lessons, or an all inclusive membership. Factors to consider are: how proficient you'd like to become, the types of dances you're wanting to study, and the number of days and weeks you are avaible.
What types of students have you worked with?
Whether your goal is to gain some confidence on the dance floor, be ready for a special event, or enter a Ballroom competition and dance like the stars, we've got you covered. We frequently teach absolute beginners through professionals. Ages 3 into the 90's!
