Frequently asked questions

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We set up a lesson time once a week via Zoom/Skype & go from there. All you need is a pair of sticks and practice pad or drum to play on.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

39 years playing drums set. 14 years teaching privately. Theatre. Orchestra. Touring Experience. Recording artist & Producer (music/tv/radio) for 25 plus years as well.

I'm on a sliding scale based on what can be afforded but generally 40$ a half hour lesson or 75 for an hour.

How did you get started teaching?

I've been in music and schooled in teaching for many years now, including students with disabilities, etc. I got my start teaching privately at Moms Music in Louisville, KY & eventually started my own business, Jyneration Studios, teaching online many years ago!

What types of students have you worked with?

All and any. All ages. Even students on the spectrum, & with physical disabilities as I am a spinal cord injury recoverer myself.

Do it. Hire the instructor. It will help you advance musically!
