    I highly recommend her!
Hallies overall expeience and knowledge of the industry makes her a versatile and well-rounded acting coach ideal for all levels. When I started working with Hallie, I was getting ready to take on a supporting role in my first feature film. Heading into production, we worked on the material as I was unexpectedly promoted to the lead role. Ambitiously taking the increased responsibility was exciting but intimidating. With a compressed production timeline, Hallie helped me to work on dissecting the script scene by scene and coached me through the entire production. This led to the completion of my first leading role in a feature film and it ultimately received distribution. On top of being a veteran actress, Hallie is also a producer and writer which is an excellent by-product as I also completed my first film as a producer/director under Hallie’s advice and guidance.

Hallie is so easy to work with—she is real, honest, supportive, warm, and funny to boot!
Hallie has been my acting instructor for nearly two decades. From scene work, to monologue work, to audition prep, to on-set coaching, Hallie has coached me into my most powerful performances. She has a way of seeing and understanding human nature. As a coach, that understanding coaxes out nuanced performances that feel like a weaving together of what is natural to the actor with lively, specific, and memorable takes on characters. I feel honored to have worked with Hallie for so many years. I have worked with many other acting coaches, but I always come back to Hallie because she is an expert, an artist, and the best of the best.

There is no one I would rather learn from.
Hallie has an incredible gift for working with actors: finding the most interesting take on a scene, teaching and utilizing various techniques to strengthen and widen an actors toolbox. After all my time studying with Hallie I never feel at a loss when Im handed a scene, no matter what that may be - comedic, dramatic, action-filled or technical. Her teaching is precise and astute, and I honestly cannot recommend her highly enough. As a student in her class, I was lucky enough to be cast in The Mooring, a film Hallie produced, starred in and co-wrote which was picked up by Lionsgate - my first professional film job and one of the most remarkable experiences of my career. As a teacher, collaborator, and mentor, Hallie is amazing and inspiring and has made an enormous impact on both my career and my life.

Trust me, you will want Hallie to not only be your coach but your best friend.
Working with Hallie is true joy. I have worked with Hallie for over seventeen years, and feel lucky to have found her many moons ago. I wouldn’t dare do an audition without her guidance! Her direction is impeccable, sharp, and baked with wit. It will energize and inspire you. She has the uncanny ability to take a scene that would be otherwise unremarkable, turn it on its head, and create a vibrant character dynamic, loaded with hills and valleys. Her coaching will lead you to places undiscovered; in both yourself and your character. She will guide you through the fog, into a field of clarity, where you will become crystal-clear on your character’s motivations in the scene. I’ll just say it; Hallie is undeniably brilliant. And fun. I have studied at studios such as NYU Tisch, Lee Strasberg Studio, Playhouse West, to name a few; but none match Hallie. I always come back to her, because she is simply a treasure. I attribute my growth as an actor and as a human to her.
