I've been teaching guitar, bass and theory professionally for over 35 years and had my own music school in Gulfport, MS. I attribute my success to being able to quickly assess a student's level and ability and devise a lesson plan that covers both the necessary fundamentals and the student's interests. I have my own extensive curriculum and authored 5 books with more on the way.

My teaching approach: I've played and taught guitar professionally for over 15 years. I work hard and patiently to keep students inspired. Hey my name is Wesley. I have been playing music since I was six years old where I started playing the piano and clarinet. In high school I picked up the guitar to learn rock songs that I was hearing on the radio. I then when to the university of the New Orleans to study guitar and classical music theory. Since I've been in New Orleans I have been playing in country and rock bands around town.

I am very active in the New Orleans music community and regularly play out in town and on tour. I have a wealth of knowledge about music business and how to be a professional musician.
