Mr. Johnson has been teaching privately for 20 years in Texas. He currently maintains a large tuba and Euphonium studio at The Woodlands HS north of Houston. When teaching lessons Mr. Johnson can be found performing as a freelance musician with local orchestras, in solo recitals, or with Space City Brass quintet-a brass quintet which he founded. He graduated with honors from the University of Houston and provides both private instruction and group classes across the Houston area. Raised in a musical household, Mr. Pavlo began studying piano at the age of four with his mother, Roksana Savitski, who became his first teacher and enduring mentor.
