He graduated with honors from the University of Houston and provides both private instruction and group classes across the Houston area. Raised in a musical household, Mr. Pavlo began studying piano at the age of four with his mother, Roksana Savitski, who became his first teacher and enduring mentor. When teaching lessons Mr. Johnson can be found performing as a freelance musician with local orchestras, in solo recitals, or with Space City Brass quintet-a brass quintet which he founded.
