About

I am a trained actor myself and have numerous acting credits. I practice what i preach. The best acting coaches are also working actors. My service stands out because I concentrate in two often neglected areas of the film/tv industry: the business of show business and stunts. While i teach you the fundamentals of acting, I also teach you how to make use of your talent in the industry.

I love what I do. I love being on set and talking about the motivations that make a character do the things he does. It makes me feel most alive. I enjoy watching my students catch fire and grow into first rate, professional actors. It's not the journey alone, it's also about who you choose to share the journey with.

Frequently asked questions

I try to gauge the students interest and ability level by working on a few scenes and trying some improvised excersices. At the end of the day, it's about plugging into the thing that drives you to want to act in the first place.

I trained in an acting conservators, before becoming a theme park entertainer at Universla Studios. From there, I focused on film acting, studying various acting methods and became a working film actor. I have also worked and ran a talent agency for film and tv actors, so I know what the casting directors are looking for. Besides preparing actors to find their personal acting niche, I also specialize in the business of show business.

My coaching rates are as follows

I was a working actor who had just returned to New Orleans to be close to family and saw that local actors needed career guidance and someone to mentor their acting training. I opened a class to train local actors and have since expanded into Texas, New Mexico, and California where I do various acting workshops and personal actor coaching.

All kinds. Some of my students have gone on to be in big movies like Jurassic World and others choose to pursue acting as a hobby in community theatre and film shorts. I prefer adult actors who are interested in pursuing some form of professional actor career, whether it be a hobby, part time, or a career.

I recently sat back to enjoy a relaxing night at home and decided to watch a Netflix film on tv. What a pleasant surprise to see one of my former students playing an amazing role in the film I was watching!

Do your due diligence. Make sure that the teacher has experience as an actor. There are many very good acting teachers in this area, but there are also some less experienced folks who aren't really going to benefit your growth. My best advice is to join a Facebook group of local actors and ask about the acting coaches in your vicinity.

I would say, ask yourself if you are interested in acting because you enjoy the process of acting or if it's because you want to be a 'star'. Remember this: stars are not born...they are made. If you are doing this for fame or to get rich, this probably isn't the career for you. It's a lot of sacrifice and hard work. One of my great mentors told me, do what you love, and the money will follow. The key to that statement is doing what you love. You can have a career as an actor: I'm a living testament to that. But don't expect it to happen overnight. If you are ready to work, I'm here for you!
