New Orleans School of Ballet, founded in 1960 and located in New Orleans, Louisiana, offers rigorous classical ballet training for young people and adults in a supportive and nurturing environment. Now under the leadership of Nikki Hefko, a former dancer and instructor from The Dance Theatre of Harlem, the school continues its dedication to excellent and progressive dance technique. With a rich history rooted in the legacy of former Ballet Russe ballerina, Rebecca Webb Lentz, the school serves both those interested in exploring classical ballet and those pursuing a professional ballet career.
