Dance Choreography & Classes
About
I have been taking my dance training seriously since high school, where I attended the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts. During that time I was teaching classes at my local studio and running junior company classes and warmups. Today, I have a BFA in Contemporary Dance Performance with a double emphasis in ballet and choreography which I earned at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee on scholarship. I now work as a freelance artist in Boston and have been making my name in the Boston dance scene. I'm employed as a dancer by Dance Currents LLC and have collaborated with Tilted and Paradise Dance Company. Come September, I'll have additional credentials as I will be a certified teacher by the Royal Academy Dance in London. I've been mentored by Russel Clarke (Royal Ballet), Denise Pons (Boston Ballet and SanFransisco Ballet), Adriana Suarez (Boston Ballet), Kurt Douglas (José Límon) just to name a few. I've also performed the works of relevant choreographers such as Stephanie Martinez, Yury Yanowsky, Jon Ole Olestad, Gregory Dawson and Zoe Scoefield.
I've been dancing since age four and love it more now than I ever have! Performing, choreographing and instructing have all taught me so much as a mover and a person. It's such a blessing to be able to share and expand upon that knowledge in the collective space we all love as a dance studio. Nothing is more gratifying than watching my students unlocking new information to achieve their goals and express themselves.
