Hello and welcome! My name is Ellie and I recently graduated from Wellelsey College with a chemistry degree and a minor in music. I have 16 years of violin performance under my belt, and am constantly trying to improve my art. I am new to teaching violin and am opening an online studio to accept students new to the instrument, and those who are intermediate players. Depending on where you are located, I can come to teach as well. I am experienced in mentoring youth, and focus my attention on empathy, understanding, and empowerment. Hi! My name is Jarelys Zamora and I've been playing for about 16 years. I was about 8 years old when I \ was introduced to the violin and I've stuck by it ever since. With a Boston University master's in Music Education from Boston University, I am very passionate about music and teaching. My teaching style is not the usual because I exclusively like to teach based on the students and their learning styles. As a music educator, it is vital for me that students enjoy playing and learning as much as I would like for them to be! Communication is the most important thing to me. I like for the students to bring in music they'd like to play

I can show students the subtle points of how fiddling comes alive, including bowing, double stops, improvising, backing up a singer in different styles. Bluegrass, Irish, Oldtime, Western Swing, etc. I've been teaching for many years and enjoy it a lot. Twice Wisconsin State fiddle champion, winner of many Massachusetts fiddle contests, author of several instructional fiddle books with Mel Bay Publications, recorded a number of CDs including instructional ones with fast and slow versions of tunes....

I give students a full service. I teach violin technique, music interpretation, music theory, how to read music, and music history. I believe that students fully enjoy their playing if they are able to receive a complete musical education, and not only learning the notes. I am passionate about music and teaching. I really enjoy to communicate my knowledge and love to others, and to see them satisfied and happy.
