Parisa Bayenat : Acting Instructor/Actor/Director/ Play Wright

My name is parisa. I am an actor, director, playwright, and acting Instructor. I started my academic curriculum in acting at Santa Monica College of Los Angeles, after which I transferred to the University of Maryland where I received my B.A. in theatre. I then completed my MFA in acting with a concentration on directing at Regent University, Virginia Beach, VA. I enjoy teaching acting as much as performing on the stage. Being a teacher was one of my sweetest dreams since childhood, which has now come true, and no occupation in my life is more joyful for me than teaching acting. I have 10 years of experience in acting instructorship at different levels, however mainly for adults. Through these years, the most encouraging feedback I have been receiving from my students is that they enjoy my style of instructorship which eases learning deep and complex concepts in an easy and fun way so that everyone understands them and enjoys them. I have taught several methods and techniques of acting, such as Stanislavsky, Meisner, and monologue preparation for acting auditions. Moreover, I have helped students learn how to have a professional presentation of themselves when applying to available acting positions. for instance, teaching them how to make an appropriate headshot or resume for taking professional roles in the industry. Through the pandemic, I started to teach online acting classes to help people who love to learn acting and they do not want to stop learning because of the pandemic situation. Because of the experience and skills I gained in teaching online acting classes, as well as the satisfaction of my students, I decided to continue this method of teaching along with my classroom classes.

In the class, we will do lots of acting games and improve exercises to help you learn acting. We also work on preparing monologues for stage and film. I will teach you how you can act in front of the camera and also in front of the audience in Theatre stages. I hope the explanations I gave you made you feel good and confident about learning about acting in my classes. Last but not least, I love teaching acting since I love to meet new people and share my experience with them. I am easy to reach and responsive to questions raised by students during a class. I care about the subject and I do care about them very much, I do take pleasure in seeing them succeed.

I am teaching my classes by Skype and it is full of fun and excitement. Also, the first session will be half a price and we can talk about our acting class and the way I can help you to learn about acting. Then if you like the class, we can make a schedule for you.

This confidence is related to seeing the success of my students in the field of acting and the satisfaction of my students and school owners with the way I teach and treat them.
