Stand Up 8 is owned by three best friends who share a passion for dance. Mary, Meredith, and Kristin share a love for teaching children dance and watching them grow, not only in their dance skills, but in their self confidence as well.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, we assess the current skill level of the dancer first. From there, we accommodate to the dancer's needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All three owners have taken higher level dance classes in college.
How did you get started teaching?
We started teaching by assisting at a previous studio, and then teaching dances for our student run dance club at our university.
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with all students, regardless of gender or ability.
