Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Hello and welcome to my small corner of the world. My #1 goal is to make sure the student is having fun while learning a new skill or brushing up on an old one. I'm still learning each and every day.
We begin by going over color chart and tools needed to begin. Next we pick a sign that the customer is interested in. From there we do some shopping for the mesh, ribbons and any other wreath attachments we can use to enhance the quality and beauty of the student's creation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My name is Corinne and I'm the CrazyCraftyQueen. I have been making wreaths for about 5 years now and have learned that not only is making wreaths or diys( crafts) is very therapeutic and good for the soul. I have also taken lessons from Hardworking Mom Lori, Decoexhange with Damon Oates, Out in the Country with Tina and Southern Charm wreaths with Julie. Each of these seasoned wreathers have their own style and their own way of making a wreath. I've been lucky enough to study their classes and learn what colors work and which wreathing methods we will use.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
