She gives a lot of praise for the progress that has been made, and I feel its genuine. Although I make mistakes, its not a big deal, she just tells me to try again. She can be a little stern but will often joke about it. I believe her style of teaching is probably the way she was taught. its been really fun, though. I learned 5 simple songs, so I am satisfied. I look forward to the next semester to learn chords and how to write my own music!

Both my children advanced their ability to play the piano I was very pleased with the lesson experience and cant wait for the next session. Melaine is honest, fair and firm when needed! Shes punctual and always ready for the lesson! My kids loved her!
