About
I have 8 years of teaching experience with both youth and adults and 12 years of dance training in a vast variety of dance styles including Hip Hop, West African, Modern, Ballet, Step, and Afro-Cuban. I earned a Master's of Education in Arts Education and Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University. With this degree, I have learned to expand my passion: combining the worlds of dance/movement and healing-based learning. I love working with both youth and adults who want to move and groove while also learning how to love themselves and feel great in their bodies!
Mind-body awareness is so important in today's world. I really enjoy supporting others in moving their bodies in order to increase not only their physical health, but also their mental and emotional well-being as well!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will always start with a consultation meeting to understand the student's passions, past experience, learning style, and more. We will have a candid, casual conversation to make sure we understand each other before movement will begin. During our first lesson, we will take things slow and co-create a format for class that works well for everyone!
