About
I teach classical piano to elementary and intermediate students. My class is not just about making a sound out of the piano, because I believe there is a lot more to being a pianist than just making a sound. I also try to teach the students how to harmonize their mind and body in order to play the piano mindfuly. I consider each student unique, therefore each class is different from the other. I have had great experiences with my students so far, and I am looking forward to getting to know more amazing future pianists.
It is enjoyable for me when I see people enjoy learning music and feel good about it. I love teaching, because I see that each student is different, in terms of their thought process, their learning methods, interest, personality, to name but a few. I learn many valuable things from them, and it makes me improve everyday.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Each class is different from the other, based on student and their individual request and aim. Generally, we start with an etude and warming up, with and without the piano, then we work on a piece, theoretically and practically, and we discuss any questions the student may have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied music for 10 years. I play the piano, the Setar (Iranian string instrument), and I compose classical music. I'm trained in Qigong (The art of controlling and managing vital energy of human body according to TCM) and I use Qigong meditations for my music classes.
